Who would’ve thought you could wear the remnants of a supernova on your fingertips? Cygnus Loop is a stunner of a polish that may just blow your mind right into another galaxy.
Depending on the light and angle of your lovely fingertips, Cygnus Loop will shuffle through a bright purple, to orange, to yellow, and even a little bit of green. Woah!
Cygnus Loop is part of ILNP’s Ultra Chrome® class of chromatic nail polishes; formulated to apply directly to the nail without the need for a base color.

in darker settings this is a purple-leaning dark blue on me, but during the day and in brighter light conditions the shade of blue is a beautiful darker primary blue (true to ILNP's swatch). the application was a dream; I found that it was fully opaque in two coats and leveled to the point of having very minimal streaking.

This one is bold and it stands out! I had more people comment on my nails than any other polish.

it had so much potential
I really wanted to love this one, but a color that only looks interesting in very specific lighting is not a great color. In most lighting it looks surprisingly dull and uninteresting. You have to really try to see any purple from different angles. A topper brightened it up well, but it should stand on its own really.
