Yummy!
Yummy is the first descriptive word that popped into my head. This is a gorgeous, yummy, rich, regal red. The pics perfectly matched the polish in person.
Regal Royalty
Wore Royalty as my red for Christmas. Beautiful red with shimmer. Easy application. No chipping.
Couldn’t achieve opacity
I found the base color of this to be too sheer. I applied four coats (not skimpy ones either) and it’s still not fully opaque. Light shines visibly through my tips and the edges just doesn’t look sharp. I painted one hand with four layers of Royal. Was dissatisfied enough that I did the other hand with one coat of an opaque matching shade (Morgan Taylor Vixen in a Mask) with two coats of Royal as a topper, which had a much nicer result. It makes a better topper in my opinion than a primary shade.
Lovely winter shade requires building up
I like this for the winter. It reminds me of garnet or a rich wine color but needs building up to at least 3 coats for opacity.
